Edie’s undergraduate degree was from The University of Miami. THE U! she completed a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Doctorate in Health Education and Promotion from Kent State University. She is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist.

Edie and Juli were  honored to have received the American Physical Therapy Associations PT/PTA Team Award. She was also honored to have been chosen as the Ohio Physical Therapist of The Year! Most recently, Cleveland State University honored her with The CSU Viking Award. She currently serves as President of The Mid American Rehab Network.

Do you need to see your physician before you come to physical therapy?  No.  However, we do work collaboratively with your physician if needed.

If you can’t find her at the clinic, check to see if she’s water or snow skiing, running, biking , kayaking or XC skiing on The Headwaters Trail adjacent to the office.  Her other passion is Revitalizing Downtown Mantua or teaching at Cleveland State’s DPT Program. She can also be found golfing, traveling, or shooting with her husband, Jeff.

In addition to returning her physical therapy clients to full activity through individualized, goal oriented, one on one treatment, Juli’s interests also include coaching clients to achieve a balance of health and wellness, and reduce their risk of chronic disease. She thoroughly enjoys helping individuals promote a lifelong lifestyle change both through physical therapy interventions and her prevention programs. In addition to Advanced Rehab, Juli started Advanced Wellness, which specializes in group and individual “Journey to Wellness” programming.

Juli received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Cuyahoga Community College, her Bachelor of Art degree in Health Communications, and her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, with a focus on Social and Behavioral Sciences, both from Kent State University. She is certified as a Wellcoach Lifestyle Coach, Lifestyle Medicine Coach, and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Juli’s research has focused on planning, implementing, and evaluating lifestyle interventions to promote optimal health and wellness. Other research has included evaluating Cleveland Clinic’s Lifestyle 180 Program to prevent or minimize chronic disease; chronic disease, the built environment and the worksite; along with the role of public health to reduce chronic disease in the workplace. She co-authored the book chapter “Dietary Protein and the Risk of Stroke” within the book Foods and Dietary Supplements in the Prevention and Treatment of Disease in Older Adults (Watson, 2015). Juli loves any outdoor activities: running, biking, swimming, triathlons, kayaking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hunting. She also enjoys playing her fiddle. Juli has a huge desire to help others improve their overall health and is anxious to help you get started in achieving your goals, whatever they may be!

DR. CAITLIN GOGGIN, PT, DPT

DR. CAITLIN GOGGIN, PT, DPT

dr. Caitlin Goggin, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Advanced Rehabilitation. She joined the staff in 2013 during her undergraduate career working in the office and chose to pursue a career as a therapist. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mount Union in 2014 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2017. she is an ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist since 2018 committed to concussion and vestibular management. she became a certified running gait analyst in 2021 and uses a systematic approach to breaking down the movements runners need. Lastly, she is certified in the selective functional movement assessment by logically breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns in a structured, repeatable assessment. Caitlin was born and raised in Mantua, graduating from crestwood high school, and thoroughly enjoys promoting health and wellness and working with patients in her local community.

 
 

REBECCA GOODELL, BA, MA

Rebecca Goodell joined Advanced Rehabilitation and Health Specialists in April 2023 as the Front Office Manager. Passionate about helping people, she shifted from working as an educator and school administrator for over 20 years, to the physical therapy world. Rebecca grew up in nearby Garrettsville and graduated from Crestwood High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Early Childhood Education from Hiram College, as well as a Master of Art degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Administrator Certification. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and many pets on their organic family farm in Shalersville. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, and cheering on her children at all of their sporting events. She looks forward to welcoming and helping patients at Advanced Rehab.

VICKI SALVINI IS A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER FROM THE SOPHIA CENTER TRY 4 LIFE AT URSULINE COLLEGE. SHE HAS BEEN TEACHING YOGA SINCE 2003. SHE REMEMBERS HER FIRST YOGA CLASS AS “LIFE CHANGING”. SHE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT YOGA - THE STRETCHING AND STRENGTHENING BUT ALSO IT MADE HER ANXIOUS MIND FEEL MORE CENTERED AND CALM.
