Every
spring we offer sports physicals at Advanced Rehabilitation and Health
Specialists. They are comprehensive examinations
that satisfy the Ohio High School Athletic Association requirement
for participation in interscholastic sports. Not only do
we provide the physicians examination, but we include a thorough
musculoskeletal examination performed by a physical therapist and a complete fitness assessment, including flexibility, muscular
strength and body composition measurements. The athletes are also seen by a physician to sign off on their physical form. We end the exam
with a summary of areas that may need work to help prevent injuries
in the athletes chosen sport.
