Edie and Juli recently traveled to Seattle to present at the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association's Annual Meeting. Their presentation discussed how running and walking programs can help promote privately owned physical therapy practices. Congratulations Edie and Juli!
Community Health Walks will once again be taking place at Crestwood Intermediate School this winter.
The community is invited to walk a marked course within the building every Wednesday and Friday morning between 7:00 am – 8:00 am starting Friday, January 20, and continuing through Friday, March 30. Advanced Rehabilitation & Health Specialists will be available on Friday mornings to educate the community walkers on a variety of topics including: Blood pressure, resting heart rate, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), target heart rate, and proper stretching.
The next Advanced Rehab event is our 4th annual Chili Bowl Cook-off & Run/Walk on Friday March 2nd at 6:00pm. Bring a crockpot of chili to be entered into our Chili cook-off that will take place immediately following the run/walk. The best recipes will receive a prize! Cost is $15 for pre-registered with a t-shirt, $5 without shirt, $20 race day with t-shirt
